For barbers & barber shops , The free cut, always in their pocket

A fade every three weeks, a beard trim in between: your customers are regulars, often loyal to a barber more than to a brand. Quardy puts their card in their phone's Wallet, and you validate it with a scan at checkout.

Why barber shops are made for stamp cards

A sharp fade doesn't last: your customers come back every two to four weeks, with a fairly stable ticket. That is the perfect rhythm for a stamp card, which fills up in a few months. And on a street where barbers keep opening, a half-full card is a real reason not to try the one next door.

  1. Frequent visits

Customers maintain their cut every 2 to 4 weeks: a 6-stamp card fills in 3 to 6 months.

  2. A stable ticket

Cut, cut and beard: similar prices, ideal for one stamp per visit.

  3. A connected clientele

Your customers follow you on Instagram and live on their phones: the Wallet speaks to them.

Which type of loyalty to choose?

Stamps, with a short cycle. Six visits is a few months for a regular: the reward stays visible and motivating. Beyond ten it feels too far away and the card gets forgotten.

Quardy recommendation for barbers

Stamps: 6 cuts = the 7th free

A free cut is chair time you control, and a reward the customer understands instantly. You can also offer a beard trim or a treatment, for an even lower cost.

Example: Yanis comes every twenty days for his fade. In four months his card is full and his seventh cut is free. He tells his friends, who add your card in turn. For you, it is one free cut for six paid ones, from a customer who no longer thinks of going anywhere else.

Alternative: points if you sell products

If you also sell waxes, beard oils and grooming products, points reward the whole basket: for example 1 point per euro, a beard trim at 100 points, a cut at 200. Products count as much as services.

How it works in your barber shop

  1. The QR code on the mirror

Stick the Quardy poster on the mirror or at the till. While they wait, customers scan it with their camera.
  2. The card in the Wallet

It is added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in seconds, with no app and no account.
  3. A scan with every cut

You scan the card from the Quardy app at checkout: the stamp is added and the card updates on their phone.
  4. The 7th cut free

At the last stamp, the app tells you the reward is due. The card starts again from zero.

Bonus: fill the chair (Pro plan)

With the Pro plan at €9.99/month, you can message customers who agreed to it, on their Wallet card or as a notification. Ideas for a barber:

  • Free slots: "Chairs free this Tuesday morning, walk-ins welcome"
  • Customers away for 30 days: your fade has grown out, time to come back
  • New products: "New beard oil in store, come and try it"
  • Holidays: "Fresh cut before New Year's Eve: book while slots last"

Frequently asked questions

I take bookings online or walk-ins. Does that change anything?

No. Quardy doesn't touch your bookings: it runs alongside, with no integration. Booked or walk-in, you scan the card at checkout.

There are three barbers in the shop. Can each one scan?

Yes, with the Business plan (€24.99/month): each barber has their own access and every cut is logged in their name. On the free or Pro plan, a shop phone or tablet signed in to the owner's account is enough.

My customers don't want yet another app.

They don't install any. The card is added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, already on their phone. It even shows on the Apple Watch.

Can I add my logo and a photo of the shop?

Your logo, colours and a line on the card are free. A photo as the card background is included in the Pro plan.

I already have paper cards. Do I throw them away?

Let customers finish them and offer Quardy to new ones. Our paper vs digital comparison covers the transition.

How much does it cost?

Free up to 50 customers. After that, the Pro plan is €9.99/month, no commitment, with unlimited customers.
