Food hall loyalty card: one shared balance, everyone's own colors
In a food hall, keep a shared program so customers earn at every stall, and give each stall its own card per location: its name, logo and colors. Customers see the stall where they signed up, and you run the whole hall from one dashboard.
A food hall isn’t quite like a food court
In a food hall or covered market, customers know their vendors by name. They go to their cheesemonger, their wine merchant, their butcher. A single card in the hall’s colors erases that bond, yet it’s the bond that brings people back.
The right operating mode is the second one in Quardy Business: shared program, card per location.
- Customers have one card, and one balance valid everywhere.
- Their card carries the name, logo and colors of the stall where they signed up.
- Each stall can also have its own links and tagline.
What stays shared, what belongs to the stall
| Element | Shared across the hall | Specific to the stall |
|---|---|---|
| Customer balance | Yes | |
| Rules and rewards | Yes | |
| Card name, logo, colors | Yes | |
| Background image | Yes | |
| Sign-up QR code | Yes | |
| Subscription and invoice | Yes |
A stall that hasn’t prepared its card yet uses the hall’s generic card. Nobody holds up the launch.
Launch without waiting for everyone
Prepare everything in advance: nothing is public, nothing is billed. Your stall managers can set up their own card on their side.
Activate at least 4 locations to activate the QR codes. The others join when they’re ready, and the bill is adjusted pro rata.
The rules to agree on between vendors
A shared program needs a simple agreement, written down before launch:
- Which reward? A value in euros works better than a product, because it can be used anywhere.
- Who pays for it? The hall’s operator, or the stalls according to their visits. Quardy doesn’t do that settlement, but the dashboard gives each stall’s visits and amounts.
- What happens when a stall leaves? Customers keep their card, valid at the other stalls. Only the closed stall’s QR code stops working.
What the hall gains from seeing everything
A single vendor knows their own counter. The dashboard shows the life of the whole hall: the path customers take from one stall to another, the peak days and hours, and the share of customers who visit several stalls.
These numbers also help the conversation: which stall brings customers to the others, and which time slot deserves an event?
What if each stall wants its own rules?
You can then choose separate programs. But customers no longer earn from one stall to the next, and this choice is final. Our comparison shared or separate loyalty programs helps you decide.
Frequently asked questions
Can a customer earn at every stall with just one stall's card?
Yes. With a shared program, the balance is the same everywhere: a visit to the cheesemonger also counts at the wine shop. The card simply carries the identity of the stall where the customer signed up.
Can each stall choose its own rewards?
No, not with a shared program: the rules are the same across the whole hall. If each stall wants its own rules, choose separate programs, knowing that customers will no longer earn from one stall to the next.
Can a stall that hasn't prepared its card still open?
Yes. A location without its own design uses the hall's generic card.
What does a stall manager see?
In the dashboard, you limit each member to the locations of your choice. A manager limited to their stall doesn't see the other stalls' numbers.
Can we add a stall during the year?
Yes. It's prepared in advance, at no cost, and activated from the dashboard. The bill is adjusted pro rata.
Can this operating mode work in a covered market?
Yes, from 4 active locations. A single organization just needs to manage the subscription for all the stalls.
